Detailed Description

Description of one named value in a Composite.

Numeric fields use their exact C++ scalar type. Text and binary fields store offsets and lengths into separate byte stores. Dynamic fields also store a value kind per element. Offsets are assigned when a CompositeArray finalizes its layout.
